Woodland Magic Mini-Sessions

Woodland Magic mini-sessions are back again this summer!

Monday, August 16, noon to 5 pm
Sunday, August 22, 1 pm to 5 pm

Sessions run approximately 20 minutes and include up to 2 children. Several tutus and fairy wings will be on hand to glam up your little girl. All you need to bring is a cute top and pair of bloomers or bike shorts for your little girl to wear underneath, though some costume jewelry or a hair pretty might be nice added touches as well. For boys, a white shirt and khakis look great against the greens of the trees and the browns of the rocks and trunks. These photos would make such unique holiday cards! : )

Investment is $45 and includes 3 - 5x7 photographs (a $20 nonrefundable fee will hold your spot and will count towards the total investment of $45). Please email or call to make an appointment; spots are limited.

Christmas in July

Now is the time to start thinking about those holiday photographs. Summertime pictures make great holiday cards! Think blooming flowers, green grass, warm sandy beaches, the front porch of the family home or cottage, a wooded path, a dock on the lake... Grateful

Julie has been my best friend since the 6th grade. We've shared so many of life's moments and for that I am grateful. Looking at this picture of her with her fourth child warms my heart. It's such a tender moment between mommy and son, and I was lucky enough to capture it forever for her. And for that, I know Julie is grateful.

Raspberry Sorbet

Maybe it's because it's almost 100 degrees outside and I'm dying to quench my thirst, but the vibrant colors in this photograph remind me of raspberry sorbet. I'll admit I'm an addict (of many things, yes), but few things are more enjoyable on a hot summer day than naps--like little Laela is enjoying here--and an ice cream cone. Let's enjoy, shall we? : )

Birthday Girl

It's hard to believe this is my little girl. She turned four today. Four. Where has time gone? While I do miss those days snuggling her itty bitty body close to mine, I wouldn't trade now for anything. She brushes my hair. We paint our nails. We fold laundry together. And out of the blue she tells me she loves me or that I'm her "best girl". When I tuck her in at night, she smiles at me and brushes my hair off my face...so sweet! Love you Olivia--to the moon and back!

Butterfly Summer

Butterflies are one of my favorite things about summer. They're beautiful. They're delicate. And they inevitably bring a smile to people's faces when they flutter by, especially children. : )
